Our History

Established in 2001, Banyan Technology developed a freight management software to deliver real-time rating and scheduling for all over-the-road (OTR) shipments. Co-founded by Lance Healy and Jim Walborn, it was the first company to introduce API carrier connectivity to the industry, revolutionizing the way clients connect with their carrier networks and conduct business.

Banyan has experienced significant growth over the past several years, being named to Inc. Magazine’s Inc. 5000 list of the fastest growing private companies multiple times and has established a strategy for powerful and positive growth. Our client-centric approach to onboarding, service and support has provided the core value that continues to drive long-term relationships fueling the ongoing development of a technology platform focused on the needs of the customer.

During the first year of our partnership, our clients will enjoy savings in excess of our monthly recurring charges if they fully utilize our platform as intended. If they do not, then they can opt out of our agreement after the first year.
